About

Born and raised in Belfast Ireland, with over a decade working on various environmental projects, Pádraig “Pod” O’Grady is a seasoned photographer with focus on marine and terrestrial wildlife. From the crystal-clear oceans of Fiji to the dense forests of Madagascar, Pod focuses on capturing endangered and critical species around the world. Conservation, human wildlife conflict, and raising awareness about climate change is at the core of his work.

His start in photography began while working with rescued Asian Elephants in the lush mountains of Northern Thailand, often saying that it's impossible to take a bad photo of an elephant. Something he stands by to this day.
